The Sandbox Announces DanceFight VoxEdit Contest

                        



 The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming virtual world, has announced the DanceFight VoxEdit Contest. The contest challenges voxel artists to create and animate unique Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) with original dance moves.

The contest will be held in two stages. In the first stage, contestants will create a voxelized NPC with original dance moves. The top 100 entries will move on to the second stage, where they will create a fully animated GIF of their NPC dancing.

The winner of the contest will receive a grand prize of 6,000 SAND tokens and 4 BT01 NFTs. The second-place winner will receive 3,500 SAND tokens and 3 BT01 NFTs, and the third-place winner will receive 2,000 SAND tokens and 2 BT01 NFTs.

The contest is open to all voxel artists, regardless of skill level. Submissions will be judged on originality, creativity, and technical execution.

The DanceFight VoxEdit Contest is a great opportunity for voxel artists to showcase their skills and win some great prizes. The contest is also a great way to get involved in the The Sandbox community and help to build the metaverse of the future.

Submission Details

  • Submissions open: August 7th, 2023
  • Submissions close: August 20th, 2023 at 11:59pm UTC
  • Results announcement: During Korea Blockchain Week (September 6th, 2023)

How to Enter

  1. Create a voxelized NPC with original dance moves in VoxEdit.
  2. Export your NPC as a .vox file.
  3. Create a GIF of your NPC dancing.
  4. Upload your GIF to Twitter and tag @TheSandboxGame and @VoxEdit with the hashtag #DanceFightContest.

Prizes

  • Grand Prize: 6,000 SAND tokens and 4 BT01 NFTs
  • Second Place: 3,500 SAND tokens and 3 BT01 NFTs
  • Third Place: 2,000 SAND tokens and 2 BT01 NFTs
